Troubadour / Live Music and Comedy Featuring Sophie Doyle

Événement

Live Music and Comedy A favourite of Montreal Improv, Troubadour returns for one night only! A musical guest will begin the evening by performing a selection of original songs. A group of Montreal’s best improvisers will then use the musician’s lyrics and banter as inspiration for their scenes. This month's Trobairitz is Sophie Doyle Sophie Doyle is a Montreal-based singer/songwriter—or at least she was...when she was 14. For one night only, she will bring you back to a period of epic romance, high drama, and broken curfews. She'll pair heartfelt songs with stories from another time. That time...was 2007. CULTURE MONTRÉAL EN CARTE

About this map

Montréal has a rich cultural offering, but information is scattered across websites, social networks, noticeboards and posters. Getting an overview can be difficult. Montréal en culture aims to simplify discovery by bringing cultural activities together in all their variety. The project is also inspired, with some nostalgia, by the weekly calendar of the cultural magazine View, which featured a varied offering, from shows to talks and from popular events to more unconventional activities. Adding a map, Montréal en culture invites you to explore that richness across the city. Still a prototype, this independent project aims to become an essential reference for cultural outings in Montréal.

The site was originally designed for desktop use. A mobile interface is now available.

A broad understanding of culture

The directory takes a broad view of culture: artistic creation, presentation, heritage, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for discovery or participation. It covers the Montréal urban agglomeration, including its associated islands. Its scope develops with the sources and activities recorded.
