The School of Performance Presents: Anti-Fascist Ecologies

Facilitated by Meghan Moe Beitiks Anti-Fascist Ecologies is a collectively researched, devised work on resistance : to fascism, to oppression, to toxic and pollutive dynamics. Beginning with speculative space created by a team of student designers, this production asks: How do we cultivate liberated ecologies? How do we make homes with each other? Performers and Designers will explore the embodiment of texts and concepts crucial to the resistance to authoritarianism and the attunement with ecologies in an attempt to answer these questions. CULTURE MONTRÉAL EN CARTE

About this map

Montréal has a rich cultural offering, but information is scattered across websites, social networks, noticeboards and posters. Getting an overview can be difficult. Montréal en culture aims to simplify discovery by bringing cultural activities together in all their variety. The project is also inspired, with some nostalgia, by the weekly calendar of the cultural magazine View, which featured a varied offering, from shows to talks and from popular events to more unconventional activities. Adding a map, Montréal en culture invites you to explore that richness across the city. Still a prototype, this independent project aims to become an essential reference for cultural outings in Montréal.

The site was originally designed for desktop use. A mobile interface is now available.

A broad understanding of culture

The directory takes a broad view of culture: artistic creation, presentation, heritage, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for discovery or participation. It covers the Montréal urban agglomeration, including its associated islands. Its scope develops with the sources and activities recorded.
