Stop procrastinating: Practical strategies for getting started when you feel stuck

Activity and venue descriptions are provided in their original language.

Événement

Do you make study plans that look good on paper, but when it's time to get to work, you find yourself scrolling, cleaning, organizing, or doing almost ANYTHING except the assignment you're supposed to be working on? You're not alone. This workshop is designed for students who find themselves putting things off, cramming at the last minute, or waiting until they "feel last minute pressure" to begin. Together, we'll explore some common reasons why procrastination happens and discuss practical strategies that can make it easier to get started when you're feeling overwhelmed or stuck. You'll leave with realistic tools you can try right away to build momentum, reduce stress, and follow through on your plans throughout the term.

CULTURE MONTRÉAL EN CARTE

About this map

Montréal has a rich cultural offering, but information is scattered across websites, social networks, noticeboards and posters. Getting an overview can be difficult. Montréal en culture aims to simplify discovery by bringing cultural activities together in all their variety. The project is also inspired, with some nostalgia, by the weekly calendar of the cultural magazine View, which featured a varied offering, from shows to talks and from popular events to more unconventional activities. Adding a map, Montréal en culture invites you to explore that richness across the city. Still a prototype, this independent project aims to become an essential reference for cultural outings in Montréal.

The site was originally designed for desktop use. A mobile interface is now available.

A broad understanding of culture

The directory takes a broad view of culture: artistic creation, presentation, heritage, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for discovery or participation. It covers the Montréal urban agglomeration, including its associated islands. Its scope develops with the sources and activities recorded.
