Something strange is brewing at ESC this Halloween For one long, sonorous night, we welcome Cabanne to the booth for an extended 3-hour set. A leading figure in French minimal for more than two decades, Cabanne has carved out a sound all his own, meticulous, playful and hypnotic, with intricate rhythms that reveal something new with every listen. From Perlon and Minibar to Yoyaku and beyond, his productions and sets have become a defining part of the minimal underground, inspiring dancers and selectors around the world. Jois us Friday October 30th for Sonora at ESC where he’ll be joined by a crew of kindred spirits: fellow Perlon alumnus Magnanime, CHEEKS (Doo Records’ DJ Frog & DJ Spence), and Onlyhans. Expect deep grooves, strange little sounds, twisted rhythms and a dance floor that gets progressively harder to escape from as the night goes on.
