Solar Thursdays — Maṇipūra Chakra Yoga & meditation

Build confidence and inner strength through yoga, breathwork and meditation for focus, vitality and purposeful action. Solar Thursdays — Maṇipūra Chakra Yoga Solar Thursdays is an energizing 90-minute practice inspired by Maṇipūra, the Solar Plexus Chakra traditionally associated with confidence, determination, discipline and personal power. Through Classical Haṭha Yoga, strengthening postures, prāṇāyāma and meditation, this class invites you to awaken your inner fire, move beyond hesitation and approach life with greater clarity and courage. Thursday is traditionally connected with Jupiter, representing wisdom, growth and expansion. The practice brings together the transformative energy of Maṇipūra and the expansive qualities of Jupiter to help you cultivate strength guided by awareness—not ego. The class may include: Core-strengthening and balancing āsanas Twists and energizing movements Solar Plexus–focused breathwork Meditation for confidence and clarity Guided relaxation and inner reflection No previous yoga experience is required. All levels are welcome. Join us every Thursday to strengthen your foundation, trust your abilities and direct your energy with greater purpose. CULTURE MONTRÉAL EN CARTE

About this map

Montréal has a rich cultural offering, but information is scattered across websites, social networks, noticeboards and posters. Getting an overview can be difficult. Montréal en culture aims to simplify discovery by bringing cultural activities together in all their variety. The project is also inspired, with some nostalgia, by the weekly calendar of the cultural magazine View, which featured a varied offering, from shows to talks and from popular events to more unconventional activities. Adding a map, Montréal en culture invites you to explore that richness across the city. Still a prototype, this independent project aims to become an essential reference for cultural outings in Montréal.

The site was originally designed for desktop use. A mobile interface is now available.

A broad understanding of culture

The directory takes a broad view of culture: artistic creation, presentation, heritage, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for discovery or participation. It covers the Montréal urban agglomeration, including its associated islands. Its scope develops with the sources and activities recorded.
