I Have Loved Strangers - Dawson Theatre

Événement

DAWSON NEW DOME -I Have Loved Strangers moves among several disparate stories and characters: a Biblical King and a prophet who bears him bad news; a modern urban guru and his wife, whose marriage struggles in the gap between fear and optimism; and the wife’s friend, who leads a group of domestic terrorists operating in secret. Inspired by the Book of Jeremiah, and the exploits of the 1970s Marxist militant revolutionary group, The Weather Underground, I Have Loved Strangers is a play about true prophets, false prophets, non- prophets, cockatrices, and lions all battling for the salvation of Ancient New York… Directed by Matt Enos and performed by the second-year students of the Professional Theeatre Program at Dawson College. * All shows at 7:30 pm * Wednesday March 3 * Thursday March 4 * Friday March 5 * Saturday March 6

CULTURE MONTRÉAL EN CARTE

About this map

Montréal has a rich cultural offering, but information is scattered across websites, social networks, noticeboards and posters. Getting an overview can be difficult. Montréal en culture aims to simplify discovery by bringing cultural activities together in all their variety. The project is also inspired, with some nostalgia, by the weekly calendar of the cultural magazine View, which featured a varied offering, from shows to talks and from popular events to more unconventional activities. Adding a map, Montréal en culture invites you to explore that richness across the city. Still a prototype, this independent project aims to become an essential reference for cultural outings in Montréal.

The site was originally designed for desktop use. A mobile interface is now available.

A broad understanding of culture

The directory takes a broad view of culture: artistic creation, presentation, heritage, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for discovery or participation. It covers the Montréal urban agglomeration, including its associated islands. Its scope develops with the sources and activities recorded.
