Heart Fridays — Anāhata Chakra Yoga & meditation

Open the heart through yoga, breathwork and meditation to cultivate compassion, emotional balance, connection and inner harmony. Heart Fridays — Anāhata Chakra Yoga Heart Fridays is a gentle yet expansive 90-minute practice inspired by Anāhata, the Heart Chakra—traditionally associated with love, compassion, emotional balance, trust and meaningful connection. Through Classical Haṭha Yoga, heart-opening postures, prāṇāyāma and meditation, this practice invites you to soften physical tension, breathe more freely and reconnect with yourself from a place of openness. Friday is traditionally connected with Venus, representing love, harmony, beauty and appreciation. Together, the qualities of Venus and Anāhata inspire a practice that balances strength with tenderness and self-awareness with connection. The class may include: Gentle heart-opening and shoulder-releasing āsanas Backbends adapted for different experience levels Anāhata-focused breathwork Meditation for compassion and emotional balance Mantra, guided relaxation and quiet reflection This practice is not about forcing the heart to “open.” It is an opportunity to create space, listen inwardly and meet yourself with greater patience and kindness. No previous yoga experience is required. All levels are welcome. Join us every Friday to breathe deeply, soften gently and end the week feeling more balanced, connected and at ease. Every Friday at Yogshala Duration: 2 hours 📍 Yogshala – École de Yoga · School of Yoga

CULTURE MONTRÉAL EN CARTE

About this map

Montréal has a rich cultural offering, but information is scattered across websites, social networks, noticeboards and posters. Getting an overview can be difficult. Montréal en culture aims to simplify discovery by bringing cultural activities together in all their variety. The project is also inspired, with some nostalgia, by the weekly calendar of the cultural magazine View, which featured a varied offering, from shows to talks and from popular events to more unconventional activities. Adding a map, Montréal en culture invites you to explore that richness across the city. Still a prototype, this independent project aims to become an essential reference for cultural outings in Montréal.

The site was originally designed for desktop use. A mobile interface is now available.

A broad understanding of culture

The directory takes a broad view of culture: artistic creation, presentation, heritage, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for discovery or participation. It covers the Montréal urban agglomeration, including its associated islands. Its scope develops with the sources and activities recorded.
