Crown Monday — Sahasrāra Chakra Yoga & Meditation

Begin your week with Crown Chakra yoga, breathwork, and meditation for clarity, inner peace, and deeper connection within. Crown Monday — Sahasrāra Chakra Yoga & Meditation Monday offers us an opportunity to pause, clear the mind, and begin the week with greater awareness. This class is inspired by Sahasrāra, the Crown Chakra—the energetic centre associated with higher consciousness, inner wisdom, peace, and connection. Through mindful Haṭha Yoga, gentle movement, prāṇāyāma, meditation, and moments of silence, we will gradually move away from mental noise and toward a quieter, more spacious state of being. The practice may include: Classical Haṭha Yoga āsanas Gentle stretches and mindful movement Calming prāṇāyāma Crown Chakra meditation Mantra and guided relaxation Quiet reflection and stillness This is not about forcing yourself to “open” a chakra. It is an invitation to slow down, observe the mind, and reconnect with the peaceful awareness beneath your thoughts. No previous yoga or meditation experience is required. All levels are welcome. Come as you are, breathe deeply, and begin your week from a place of clarity. Every Monday at Yogshala – The School of Yoga 📍 10 Ronald Drive, Montreal West Please arrive 10 minutes early. Yoga mats are available at the studio.

CULTURE MONTRÉAL EN CARTE

About this map

Montréal has a rich cultural offering, but information is scattered across websites, social networks, noticeboards and posters. Getting an overview can be difficult. Montréal en culture aims to simplify discovery by bringing cultural activities together in all their variety. The project is also inspired, with some nostalgia, by the weekly calendar of the cultural magazine View, which featured a varied offering, from shows to talks and from popular events to more unconventional activities. Adding a map, Montréal en culture invites you to explore that richness across the city. Still a prototype, this independent project aims to become an essential reference for cultural outings in Montréal.

The site was originally designed for desktop use. A mobile interface is now available.

A broad understanding of culture

The directory takes a broad view of culture: artistic creation, presentation, heritage, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for discovery or participation. It covers the Montréal urban agglomeration, including its associated islands. Its scope develops with the sources and activities recorded.
