Building for the Agentic Software Era

Événement

[Version française plus bas] Agents are changing software from both sides. They're joining our teams and writing code, and they're becoming the users our products need to serve. This edition of AI Practitioners MTL covers both. At AI Practitioners MTL, our goal is simple: help people move beyond AI theory and apply it to real work, through live demos, hands-on sessions and honest conversations about what works. **Session 1: Redesigning the SDLC for agentic development** When agents write part of the code, what happens to code review, estimation, accountability and developer careers? Two perspectives on the same shift: the engineering manager's view of the team, and the engineer's view of the daily craft. 👤 **[Rasha Nasri](https://www.linkedin.com/in/rashanasri/?utm_source=luma)**, Founder of Women in the Loop (ex-Google) 👤 **[Prinon Turio](https://www.linkedin.com/in/prinonturio/?utm_source=luma)**, Engineering Manager (ex-Boeing) **Session 2: From zero to the marketplace: building an MCP server** A from-scratch walkthrough of building an MCP server and getting it listed in the ChatGPT and Claude marketplaces: what to build, what the submission requires, and what it takes to get approved. 👤 **[Faizan Khan](https://www.linkedin.com/in/eff-kay/?utm_source=luma)**, Founder of DocsAlot (ex-Plotly) **Event timeline** 6:00 PM: Doors open and networking 6:45 PM: Welcome and a word from our host, Deck 7:00 PM: Session 1 + Q&A 7:40 PM: Session 2 + Q&A 8:15 PM: Networking 9:00 PM: Close Bilingual room: ask your questions in French or English.

About this map

Montréal has a rich cultural offering, but information is scattered across websites, social networks, noticeboards and posters. Getting an overview can be difficult. Montréal en culture aims to simplify discovery by bringing cultural activities together in all their variety. The project is also inspired, with some nostalgia, by the weekly calendar of the cultural magazine View, which featured a varied offering, from shows to talks and from popular events to more unconventional activities. Adding a map, Montréal en culture invites you to explore that richness across the city. Still a prototype, this independent project aims to become an essential reference for cultural outings in Montréal.

The site was originally designed for desktop use. A mobile interface is now available.

A broad understanding of culture

The directory takes a broad view of culture: artistic creation, presentation, heritage, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for discovery or participation. It covers the Montréal urban agglomeration, including its associated islands. Its scope develops with the sources and activities recorded.
