ARTE x CATs Research Commons

Événement

The ARTE x CATs Research Commons is a one-day hybrid gathering bringing together faculty and students from Art Education and Creative Arts Therapies for an informal exchange of methods, materials, knots, and emerging research. Circulating between faculty roundtables, prompted exchanges, and student-led research-creation, the day invites participants to encounter what others are making, experimenting with, and working through. The Research Commons offers an accessible and dynamic space for curiosity and unexpected points of overlap, where finding out takes precedence over expertise. How can you participate? Join us in person or online by registering for the Zoom Meeting or watching live on YouTube. Have questions? CULTURE MONTRÉAL EN CARTE

About this map

Montréal has a rich cultural offering, but information is scattered across websites, social networks, noticeboards and posters. Getting an overview can be difficult. Montréal en culture aims to simplify discovery by bringing cultural activities together in all their variety. The project is also inspired, with some nostalgia, by the weekly calendar of the cultural magazine View, which featured a varied offering, from shows to talks and from popular events to more unconventional activities. Adding a map, Montréal en culture invites you to explore that richness across the city. Still a prototype, this independent project aims to become an essential reference for cultural outings in Montréal.

The site was originally designed for desktop use. A mobile interface is now available.

A broad understanding of culture

The directory takes a broad view of culture: artistic creation, presentation, heritage, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for discovery or participation. It covers the Montréal urban agglomeration, including its associated islands. Its scope develops with the sources and activities recorded.
