Thinking with AI: A practical toolkit for critical, accountable GenAI use — 2027-03-24 à 13:00 — 15:00

Generative AI tools are now part of everyday academic and professional work: from drafting and coding to data analysis, yet very few of us have had a structured chance to build real judgment about when to trust these tools and when to double-check them. This session offers a practical, discipline-agnostic toolkit for using GenAI critically and responsibly, so it strengthens your work instead of quietly undermining it. What to expect Where GenAI genuinely helps and where it quietly misleads A simple, reusable checklist for verifying AI-assisted work before you submit it Open discussion on responsible AI norms across different fields A shared vocabulary for talking about AI use with peers and supervisors About the facilitator Md Sakib Ullah Sourav is a PhD candidate in Cybersecurity and Intelligent Systems Engineering at Concordia's Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science, where his research focuses on responsible and accountable use of generative AI in engineering education.
